Evenmy 10 year oldA6 1998 hadfree recall services.
I got 2 recalls so called "JC", "JN" issues.
CallAudi Service and check your vin#.
They would tell which opened campaign you have.
And, does anyone know what the "Sound Absorbing Pan" is?

I called to the Headquarter Service Center.
Sorry to forget the Phone number ...
And, i think you are right. i don't have pan under engine.
did the lube guy steal it? lol

sorry to grave rob....
it's a VIN specific thing. call audi up directly. the dealer will be able to give you the info, but they're just going to call audi...so you may as well do it yourself.
