Default Md state inspection FAILED my audi a4 1.8t rotor size.. need help

Hi there,

I just bought a new 99 audi A4 1.8 quattro

Took it to md state inspection and found that they said my rear rotor - .279 and .290

Which, they said they should be .314...

Should i listen to them and change new rotors or are .279 and .290 normal and still alive for other miles?

or Should i try other different md state inspection location?

Need your opinions...

thanks

it could be the rotors are too thin due to wear ( not unreasonable )

below 279mm is micro and if they work well its not a fail but if they are burned out then change them and the pads

as a mechanic I have a cheat, the tester feels the edge of the rotor and if its high that signals break wear so if you grind that edge off the results are amazing

The minimum rotor thickness is cast onto the disc.
