I was driving home and in my rear view mirror I see a red GTI mk5. I perfer mk4's but that's niether here nor there. He buzzes by me with his girlfriend in the passenger. I felt like catching up real quick to check out his wheels,gunmetal TSW's,but got stuck at the light. Further up I see him again so I catch up to him again to look at the wheels. I wish they were mine cause they looked real good. I don't know if he thought i was trying to race him or not but all of the sudden he tries to take of and show off for his girl. I hit the gas and was gone and figured it was over. I pull to the next light and the kid is next to me and he's ready to go. The light turned green and I hit the gas good and my car took off. He tried to catch up to me but I already had 3 or 4 lengths on him. Finally I hit fourth gear and was gone and he fell into the backdrop. I figured it was a good kill despite me loving VW's. I actually thought he would have taken me but that didn't happen for what ever reason. None the less I finally saw him one last time as he does a flyby like a rice driving poor sport. Too bad for him and his pride. It sucks to get beat when your girl is in the car!

^ Or not be a b!tch, and take it like a man. Personally, if I know I'm going to lose, I won't race w/ a girl in the car. And unless the chick is down w/ it, I won't race at all. I'm not a big fan of risking someone else's life for the sake of my own amusement....

HAHAHA- Nice- I raced a GTI myself, and ended up beating him also- I really dig the GTI though. I also hate racing when a girl is in the car- Wheather u win or lose, they still end up gettin pissed off at you for doing it. HAHA- O well, some females just dont understand-

i had a race against an a new body gti the other night on the highway, he and i both slowed down to 40 and went from there up to 120, up untill around 70 he had me by about2 to3 car lengths, after that i pulled away from him to about3 or4 car lengths by 120, it was hella sick.
