What up? I've been around tuning for a long time- I sold a 300 WHP integra about two years ago, bought a truck, and traded it in about a month ago for a '01 A4 1.8t. A quick question- What is this?



The dealership told me it was chipped and has a suspension package. I do have the leather wrapped wheel with the Audisport logo, as well.

u have the sports package
and you have a 2001 1.8 turbo with quattro (AWD)
the red T means it a 2001
u have 170HP engine instead of the 150HP in the older models

 

I don't think the car is "chipped" though. The dealer told you it was chipped???

 

The quattro and the 1.8t I was familiar with- just wasn't sure what the red flag and the sport package entailed, exactly.

Well, I shouldn't say the dealer. Their secretary said "oh, hey- it's got the little red flag. That means it's chipped." Well, now I know what I have- time to start thinking about what it can be...
