Just got an A4 T1.8 Sport with nice sporty seats... however the drivers seat looks like someone has tried to wash it and there is some kind of drying stain been left. Whats the best way to get rid of this

Cloth seats? If so check to see if they are "alcantra" material. This is like a soft suede material but if not cleaned properly they may develop rings or what appears to be stains.
If they are just plain cloth they could either be stained from a spill or the seats were cleaned and not properly dried. So the dirt seeps into the seat foam and then "wicks" back up as it dries.
See what types of seats you have and then perhaps, myself or another, may be able to give you a

Guess it would help a bit if I said they are cloth seats:D. With Sports seats.. pull out extenders for leg support, electric lumbar support and bucket shape. From what you have said I think its more a case of "So the dirt seeps into the seat foam and then "wicks" back up as it dries. " rather than a spill. I will try and get a photo later today.
