Default Swaping Mk I TT seats w MK II seats

I would like to put some 2007-2009 Mk II TT Baseball seats into my 2001 Mk I TT coupe. My current seats are manual, the new Mk II TT ones are power.
I have been told by one dealer that the tracks are the same and he can do it- can also hook up any wiring electrical required for the new seats. Another dealer said they would not fit.

Who really knows? Before I purchase them. Need to know asap-thanks!

In short no. Remember mk1 airbags are in the seats. Don't mess with it

Go for it! But be prepared to fabricate some things.
