sounds rly nice... the only flaw is cruiding in 5th gear. When doing around 55-60 (speed limit in upstate ny) and in 5th gear, the muffler gives off a realy loud deep tone. deep is good but its to loud, you can hear even when the radio is on loud. But it looks sick and for the most part it sounds awesome.

 

which one did you put on?

 

any sound clips? did you keep the middle res?

 

i put the 14816 magnaflow, and its all stock pipping.

 

is it really that loud? i was thinking about getting that one during the summer. get a sound clip during those speeds

 

i just bought the 14816 for my 2.8 and i'm wondering how you hung it and where did you cut the tail pipe at to get teh old muffler off.

 

my shop cut right after the first muffler (its right before the one ur replacing) and then did custom piping to bring it out ( like 2 feet). He hung it be jsut welding short metal pieces on the muffler to into the rubber mountings.

 

so you removed the midresonator. No wonder its loud. If it bothers you just put on a glasspack.

 

no i didnt delete the resonator....i said he cut after the resonator.

 

how much did the custom piping job from the mechanic cost ya? I've been trying to figure out how to hang it on my own but the piping is just doesn't work out very well.
