Are you sure he left the mid muffler? There isn't 3' of pipe between the mid and regular mufflers, there is from the axle back. I replaced just the muffler and there was only 1' of pipe between the 2. Mine isn't loud at all inside but you can tell it's there.

im gunna get a sound clip inside and out of my car.. the muffler is definitely louder then i wanted it to be.. when im accelerating its not bad i like the sound. it jsut when im cruising and its like at 2 to 3 thousand rpm is loud as hell. to better describe it im getting a loud humming noise ( a drone). Its a deep sound but loud and annoying. how can a soften this sound a bit?
