Default Parts shop?

I am looking at having to do a couple things to my new-to-me A6 2.7T. Among them is the timing belt asI have no history and the car is just about 90k. I am wondering if you all can point me to a good resource for buying parts online. I am also looking for a new auto dim rear mirror with a compass as mine is very dead.

So, spill the beans, where's the good parts places?

You didn't mention the year, but eBay seems to have a number of auto-dim compass mirrors going there from time to time. There seem to be at least two people selling mirrors regularly.

A good place for filters www.germanfilters.com

i a mod-addict so i have to keep track of the best deals in mod and other auto parts available online. i mostly buy my auto body parts in car parts wholesale. they've got all that i need, rarely having out of stock products.

I got a good deal on the TB kit from Blauparts as well.

Gentex in Zeeland MI manufacturers electrochromic (self dimming) mirrors with compasses for OEMs. Try their website - they used to sell retail, too.
