how do i shut this ****-in assthing off... and befor you say change your pads lol i will tell you that they have a good amount. about half a dime size. i have a vag-com but that wont turn it off, and it some times goes off untill i hit the breaks but most of the time its always on. can i cut the wires and tie them together. thanks for the help

 

I dont really know what you mean by half of a dime, does that mean the radius (1/4" ish) or like flat on the table (less than 1mm)?

To disable the sensor short it out with a little piece of wire, then electrical tape it and secure it up out of the way.

 

Oh yeah and change your pads

u can disable brake light with vagcom, take ur brakes off and check the pin, there might be some crud on it or it might just be tweaked a little. thats just my guess. but yes vagcom will clear it. does it just come back instantly or something?

 

do you know where it is on the vagcom. yes it does come back on instantly if it does happen to go off by its self, ive never been able to shut it off. im going to try the wirethat hp sent in the pic on monday..

 

Have you looked at your inside pads? Please do not just assume that because you see 1/4 inch of pad on the outside that there is the same amount on the inside. These lights usually don't come on unless there is a problem.
