I got a 1996 A4 quattro about a week ago and it has no cd player in the trunk. Did some just not come with a cd player or was it taken out?

My 2000 didn't come with one either. I think you needed to get it as an option. But really, who uses CDs anymore? Just get an iPod adapter and run it stealth up to the front. Its money.

The trunck mounted 6 CD changer is an option.
