Funny smell when stopped after high speed driving
I have noticed that there is a slightly mild burning smelling - almost a talcum powder type of smell - after I've been driving aggressively or at higher speeds. If I've been riding at 80 for a while down the highway and come to stop at the end of the off ramp I'll notice it. I can't see any smoke or steam. I cannot locate the smells source. Any ideas?
well I would say youre driving aggressively makes the tires lose traction and therefore skid, causing a burning smell, but I dont know about the highway.
Good point, if u have a clutch, the clutch will make a funny smell (as u may have already known) Especially if u shift aggressively. Buddy of mine has a nice GTI, 6 speed, and he drives crazy, so i can smell the clutch after i pass him in my Audi-- MUHAAAAhaha
