Funny Smell

Default Funny Smell

When Ever My Audi Has Been Driven around it starts to get this real funny smell and its not oil its not that pungent but kinda like a bu rning plastic i checked all the hoses clutch fan and i see nothing... dose anyone else have this problem????????

Hi. Have you checked for any fluid leaks other than oil? If so, you might check and see if you have maybe a plastic bag or something stuck to the underside of your car. I had one stick on my hot exhaust that smelled until I was able to jack up the car and get it cleaned off. Worst case scenario...did some small animal (rodent)maybe crawl into your engine bay and die?

lol...lets hope noe i checked under the car and nothuing but i think if there is a possible way that my powersteering fluid might be leaking from the seals... some dill hoe but break fluid in my powersteering fluid and might have messed it up.. so i don't know but hey thanks for the advice i really appreciate it....

Check the engine air filter,I never smelled anything but when i changed it last i found a dead mouse!
