Default new audi owner looking to identify noise

hey i just bought an audi and im really happy with my purchase.
i would like to identify a noise i hear each time i turn off the engine.

there is a clearly audible humm which quickly dies out very much compared to what a jet engine might sound like while turning off.
i drive an a4 1.8t and assumed it was the turbo losing power.

can anyone confirm?
thanks!

no, its either the turbo spooling down or more likely the coolent still flowing through the turbo. There is nothing wrong

i agree with cincyTT, my 1.8T does the same thing but its just the turbo spooling down, nothing to worry about

not the turbo, I've got a 3.0 and mine does it too. I think its the fan or something of the sort...

Yup, my 3.0 too. Pretty sure it's the fans.
