Default B6 Rims

I have a 2005 A4 3.0 sport package B6 body style and was wondering if 19" rims fit on the car. I have the 17" standard ones on it now, and the dealer told me that they don't think that 19's fit on the car w/o suspention mods. They said they prolly will rub in the wheel wells as well. I was looking on tirerack, and i like the ASA ST4 alloy rims. They are 19" and the tire that fits them is the 235/35 r19. do you think that they know what they are talking about and know it fits, or are they just dumb and it doesn't fit? The dealer also told me 18's would be a lot better not only will they fit, but ride quality is a lot better. I'm new to the car, and used to have a nissan pathfinder where the ride sucked a whole lot. Please advise on the tires.

ST4 wheels

sorry about the link i guess the page wont display. These are 37 mm offset, which i have no idea what offset means. thanks for the swift reply. What do you think about the Fuzion ZRi tires, or do you think that the Continental ContiSportContact 2 are worth the extra 50 bucks each. i live in ohio, and when winter starts around november and lasts till the first week of may, i dont know if it's worth spending a whole lot on seasonal tires.

How's the ride quality on the 19's? i hear that it is not so great, and 18's are a lot smoother. If it is bearable and not too bad i'll go with 19's

you can get 20's on there but they will rub and your car will go 0-60 in 40 sec.

The Continental ContiSports are good. I have them on my B6 they are very smooth and grip like something very very sticky to the road!!!! 19 inchers too. In the UK they are about 100ukp if you shop around so not cheap.... but I am so impressed that when I come to repleace them I will get them again!
