Hi all,
I posted in the Newbie forum but wanted to post with the rest of the 'Big Audi' owners. After sitting around admiring A8s for several years, I've finally taken the plunge and purchased a 98' A8 with all sorts of tricked out goodies. The former owner had most installed and was really great to deal with. Here's a list of the options on my car. Feel free to e-mail me for details and I'll see what I can do to fill you in on where to get them for yourself! Since I didn't install them, nor have I driven any other A8s (other than test drive) I can't claim if the performance options work.. but I will say that the thing Pulls like a locomotive when going from say 80-100. It also has a great ride (I think anyway) that can be termed 'agressive'. To be honest, it handles like my friend's A4 Sport! The Phatnoise system is pretty trick as well. It actually has a synthesized voice which tells you the current playlist.

GIAC Computer Module (32Hp claimed boost)
Carbonia Carbon Fiber Intake with K&N Filter (claimed 13HP boost)
Eiback Pro Kit
2004 A8L 19" wheels sitting on Z-rated Dunlop Tires
Brembo Cross-Drilled Rotors with PBR Metal Master Pads
K-40 Built-in Hidden Radar Detector with VG2
Tinted Windows
Audi PhatNoise MP3 Player working through BOSE Symphony Head Unit
Custom Mounted Trunk Enclosure Housing Dynaudio 12" Subwoofer
Planet Audio Amplifier Mounted in Rear Seat Divider (Back of Custom Enclosure)

About the only thing I would like to add to the car would be and S8 Body Kit with Fog lights, some coilovers for the Eibachs, and possibly a mount for my Tablet PC which I use with Delorme GPS to give me a Sweet GPS/DVD player! [8D]
