Default smoke test help, please?

hey, does anyone here know how to smoke test a 2000 A4 1.8T (fwd)? do i HAVE to take it to Audi or can i do it myself or what? my car is throwing codes P0301-P0304. on a cold start shakes really bad and the CEL flashes and doesn't take off well at all, however, after the engine warms up, the CEL stays solid and the boost comes back and it drives great! i already changed my ECTS(engine coolant temperature sensor), fuel injectors, spark plugs and coil packs. (also, i don't have an ignition control module) so the only other thing would be a Mass Air Flow sensor or vacuum leak. any help guys?

wait... your throwing misfire codes...?

if it isn't flashing... and its solid it means its a previous occurance and not happening now. you might have corrected the issue... but until you delete the fault memory the CEL will remain illuminated

so stop changing parts... you need to delete the codes after each repair to ensure the repair made actually corrected the fault.

After clearing a code you need to drive about 60-70 miles before re-testing or your codes will re-appear.
