Radio problem-help a brother out
I pulled my wifes TT out of winter storage last weekend. It is a 2001 and has the Bose Concert Sound.
I had to replace the battery when I picked it up so I expected to have to enter the code to make the radio functional again. The problem is the radio is totally non-functional including the display which should say "safe". I have checked fuse #42 listed in the owners manual as being the radio fuse and it is fine.
Does anybody else have any ideas on what to check next? I'm nearing the end of my rope with this car. Maintenance costs are more than my 997 C2S and it seems like every year it needs another $1000 repair.

Get aftermarket radio?? OEM Radio may have just decided to quit.... I'll be selling my OEM radio in about a month if you can narrow it down to the actual cause. Other than that I would check all the fuses in the car and also check all other electronics in the car to see if anything else is not functioning. If only the radio is not working then I would be willing to bed it just died.
