Audi A3 vs. VW R32

Audi A3 vs. VW R32
Why does VW R32 cost more than an Audi A3 with the 3.2L? Aren't they basically the same chassis and drivetrain? I'd assume the A3 has a higher end interior.
I've found turbo kits for the VW R32, but none for the Audi A3, Audi TT or Audi A4 with the 3.2L. Do the turbo exhaust manifolds for the R32 fit on the A3, TT or A4?

from the same year? The A3 3.2 was around from 2006, while the R32 was a limited edition that was only produced in 2008 (another reason it could be more).
The turbo kit could fit the A3 3.2, but there will no guarantee everything will fit exactly unless the turbo maker gets a beta tester. There are still a few differences inside the engine compartment. It definitely won't fit the A4. The only thing it has in common with the other cars is the displacement. The chassis, engine design, engine layout are all as different as they can be.

3.2 A3
Mark 5 R32
Much of the tuning you would like to seek for the Audi A3 3.2 can be found in the R32 world.
Also the R32 was produced first in 2004 and carried through to 2008. With slight changes I beleive from the Mark 4 to the Mark 5 as far as the engine itself goes.

Lol like i said a few minor changes i just couldnt remember exact numbers off the top of my head. Yea that sound tube, which isnt a huge concern. The A3's battery is in the trunk though, is it the same on the R?
