Hi, I'm new to this forum and need help. I have a 2003 1.8 A4 that temporarily died on me at a traffic stop today (most of LA is probably angry at me for causing an embarrassing traffic jam during Friday evening rush hour in W. Hollywood). I was driving fine all day until I came to a red light. A few moments before, I noticed that my gear display (pnrd) suddenly disappeared but everything else seemed OK (a/c, radio, rest of dash display was lit except pnrd.). When it was time to go, the car wouldn't move forward even though it was still in drive mode. I shut off the car to restart, but the car would not start even after turning the ignition. The dash lights were working though. By the time I had called AAA and my mechanic (15 minutes later), my car miraculously started again and was able to move my car. I had the fuel injectors replaced just a few weeks ago. Would this be related at all? I have 105k miles. Just nervous this will happen again while I'm driving. Any advice is much appreciated!!
