I am in dire need of some assistance regarding an install of my new radiator that I had just purchased. Its my first time and I dont wanna screw anything up. PLEASE HELP!!!!

 

Why do you have a new one, the old one have a hole in it? Basically drain the coolent, pull the hoses, and then unbolt it from the frame. Shouldnt be to hard.

 

Chill man, its easy. Take off your bumper. 2 bolts on front. 1 screw in each wheel well. From there its cake, look at a timing belt DIY on audiworld.

 

I have a B6 model and this is my first time doing it so I am gonna need some play by play instructions please. I never had to do this. TYhe whole reason y I got the new radiator was because I saw steam coming out the passenger side of the radiator.

 

 

I dunno but on the b5 it's not a simple 20 minute job. It took me 2hrs in the freezing cold. The hardest part was removing the oil cooler lines, PITFA.

A b6 guy said it was similar to the b5 and linked a b5 write up. To get to the timing belt, you have to get past the radiator so you'll be looking at parts of a timing belt job write up.

Between this and cincy's diagram you should be able to pull it off. My biggest tip would be when filling up the radiator fluids, mix the water and pink before you add it. That way you'll have the right mixture even if it fills up before your done filling it... if you know what i mean.
