Default power steering

Steering works fine. I hear no noises or anything but the power steering "dummy" light is on. I just installed new tie rods and I did lose some fluid in that process by turning the wheel too fast causing overflow. I have not added any more fluid and the res. level is actually a bit high. I plan to do the slow bleed method to make sure I dont have trapped air but with no noise and no bubbles appearing in the res. I am a bit confused. Steering is smooth...

What does the light look like? Steering wheel and exclamation mark? You need to have it scanned and it should show you a code. You may just need to CLEAR the code after doing the work on your car, maybe you touched it, unplugged it etc.. otherwise it will point you in the right direction. Usually when they go out, or are low on fluid, you will hear the 'noises'....

I think its the steering wheel position sensor. The "light" is a graphic in the top center that looks like (O) basically. The ABS and Airbag lights are both on as well and I think they are all related to something in the steering column being out of whack.
