Default Electric seat half problem?! A8 D3 04'

Hi! Hope somebody can help me here, I can not find any threads about my problem with the driver seat.

So the problem goes like ths:

The driver seat functions normal, forward/backwards, up/down, headrest up/down, tilting seat front-up/down, back-up/down.

but

the seat extender, just whent one way- out
the belt adjuster, just whent one way- up
the shoulder adjuster just whent one way- back
the lumber suport, just whent one way- out (not even up/down)

it seams the MAIN is one unit and the others are another unit, can anyone please help me!?!?!

I love the car.. to drive, to look at it, but damn, the problems are coming on!!!
first, the seat, then the window-wipers would not stop, unless you "push" the lever down ones the whipers are in up position in a sequences to make them stop.
The aircon fan is usualy dead now (works sometimes)
the left parkbrake motor just stop working (lamps blinking and stuff)
a ghost parking sensor. The one that is fault, isn't the one when i changed it!
When i wash the car, the right taillights goes of (both the trunk and the one on the body) and there are no sign of water entrance anywhere...

So in total.. 5 annoying problems!!!

Otherwise a great car, and i've taken care of it after my best knowlege!

So please help some one, best reagards from a frustrated norwegian guy

Welcome to the board stratos!

I think there is only one controller in the seat, but could be wrong.
It is also possible it is the switch assembly or a bad connection.

Do you have the rain sensing wipers?
If so, it could be the sensor is not mating to the glass properly.

Aircon is likely the blower motor having failed.
Not too hard to replace - would post a link but the other forum is down at the moment.

Parking brake may also be rusty/bad connection or seized up.

Same with connections on parking sensor - have read several posts recently about wiring.

Tail lights does sound like water infiltration, but if there is no fog and nothing is wet, hmmmm.

Yes these are great vehicles, but those kind of gremlins can drive you crazy.
Have you got VCDS or access to someone, maybe an independent garage with it?
A scan will pinpoint a lot of these issues very quickly that otherwise you'd just be guessing and replacing parts until problem goes away.

Common theme here, except for blower motor, seems to be electrical in nature.
In the States we use something called DeOxit a lot - it's a very good contact cleaner, lubricator and protector.
That would be my first thing to do - check, clean, protect all connections and see if anything improves.
Ultimately you will need to have some codes cleared on the vehicle though to make some things work again.

I would be willing to bet the parking brake problem is one of the wires broken near the caliper motor connection. When I was an Audi tech, repaired quite a few that had that happen. At the very least, it's an easy check to do as it's visual. If it is just a broken wire it'll still need, like jakematic said, the codes cleared and the parking brake basic settings done for it to operate again.

I second the DeOxit stuff, EXCELLENT product every tech needs in his toolbox.

As far as I know this problem occurs if you have some wires connect to the switch. Try to be a little "punch" gently finger, I believe that it is a problem.
