Hi All,

My Wife drove the car into the garage today (A4 2004) and we noticed water dripping from below on the driveway.... I looked under the car and I could see water dripping from what I can only describe as the passenger footwell (Left hand drive) center side, underneath, it is sort of inline with the door hinges.

There is no water inside the car and all carpets are dry..... I left if for a couple of hours and it seems to have stopped with a puddle of around 10 cm in diameter left under the car.

I touched the water, and it doesn't appear to have anything in it or smell of anything..

Is this likely to just be the A/C evaporator draining itself?? Do I need to worry ??

This is normal, you shouldnt worry about it. all cars do this.

 

Normal, if it doesn't see post about smelling like pee.........
