Hi guys and gals
I am an Aussie with a great A8L with 200 thousand kilometres about 125,000 miles and am envious at all the parts and things available for the DIY,er especially the tool hire from Blauparts.
In Australia no-one hires anything like this and all tools are very expensive here so what it couldn't buy I made in my shed very quickly and they may not be very pretty but were very effective in there operation.
I purchased the advanced.timing belt kit from Blauparts which .was full Of really quality parts and all that that was required to do the job,and was cheaper than just a belt from the Audi dealership.
I Changed all the seals as well and replaced all serpentine belt tensioners as well haven't done the oil CooleR yet but have all the parts as I am lucky enough to have a Molnar 2post hoist (made in Aus )in the back yard it made the job really easy (the wife has. Almost got over it as I purchased the hoist while she had a back operation ini hospital when she got home it was installed and working).
