Default cam belt change?

Having bought my 207,000 mile A4 I am going to service it soon at a friends garage. The cam belt was last changed 65,000 miles ago.

Should I get the belt changed? Should I get anything else changed or checked?

And does anyone know how to remove the "insp" flashing remider on the dash????

Thanks

Year model and engine would be helpful. You should consider changin the timing belt in the next 15 K miles, assuming you are sure it was done 67K ago. At the same time you should replace all the belts, tensioner, associated parts, front engine cam seals, and water pump.

Also, you should take car of general maintenance for the car including putting new Pentosin 11S power steering fluid, fluching the brake fluid with fresh, change the transmission and differential(s) gear oil. with new synthetic. Probably time for a fuel filter too.

Sorry it is an A4 1.9 TDi 1998 (R). The cam belt was changed by Audi and the car had a full service at 142,000 miles.
