Exclamation Acceleration jerking (Hesitation/Misfiring)

I'm a new member to AudiForums. Hello All!

I’ve been experiencing my Allroad jerking while accelerating (like a hesitation in power). Last fall my CEL came on and was told by my local mechanic that it was my upstream O2 sensor. I had that changed and then recently the CEL came on again and I started experiencing this jerking and was told that it most likely was my downstream O2 sensor in the same bank. I had that changed. After clearing the codes the CEL light came back on immedietely and the jerking persisted. I was hoping that the O2 sensor was the problem as it was affecting the fuel air mixture. Apparently not. My mechanic said that there were several new codes and the main issue was misfiring (miscellaneous or ‘random’ misfiring). I had the plugs changed. This did not fix the issue. Before having my mechanic charge me more money to find out what isn’t wrong I was hoping to get some ideas here on what the possible problem could be. Is it worth changing all the coil packs to see if that is the issue? Could this be a fuel filter issue, plugged CAT Converter and worse a turbo issue?

Any info that anyone has would be much appreciated. I didn’t realize until after I spent $400 at my mechanic that the Audi specialist that was there had left…I hate to see a domestic mechanic looking under the hood…
