Default Front Stabilizer or just bushings?

So, I went to the dealer to get the front bushings checked because of creaking.

They didn't bother physically checking the front swaybar bushings, but basically said that the front stabilizer bar needs to be replaced, and it's a $450 quote.

Am I missing something or do I sniff some BS?

Also, are the front swaybar bushings really easy to replace (sorry, I tried searching and looking for DIY, but on most threads, everybody is just like "yea, replace your bushings" so I have no clue on the difficulty of the procedure)?

Front sway bar and bushings are pretty easy to get to. Maybe they didn't go into specifics because it wasn't necessary.
