I am new tothis forum. I have found a thread relating to this problem and would like to post a reply, but it wont let me, can anyone help? The problem is i have bought a new Transmission range sensor (muli function switch) (01V-919-821-B) but the plug on the end is a different shape to the one fitted on the car. The guy who started the thread has a 3.0, presumably petrol, and he lives in the states. I gave my local dealer the part number quoted in UK and the part is exactly same apart from the plug, please can anyone help??

 

Hey my name is Dan, and i have a 1993 audi 90cs, i just got into an accident last night and i hit 2 raccoons, i em looking for a front bumper cover/skirt. I called the dealership and they are asking about 1100-1200$ for it, i went to a body shop and for the skirt and to install it, they are asking about 1145$. does anyone know of any web site or place icould call to get a skirt for cheaper. I,ve own a 98 a6 for the last ten years. Luv the car. This fall my outside rear antenna body base finally broke apart. Since then I have not come up with any options. Anyone that has had or knows any solutions would be great.

Since I have joined this forum I have read numerous threads where members have bought and installed MAF Sensors, and after which have experienced performance problems. Some of the problems can be immediate or take time to surface, with either the same codes and/or added codes.

There has been an ongoing problem in the NY/Metro area where BOGUS parts are being sold in the packaging of legitimate OEM suppliers. Many of these items have now found their way onto ebay and other online transaction sites. I can only speak for my area but it would be safe to assume that this is occurring country wide.
