Default Audi 4000S speedometer cable

I'm trying to locate a speedometer cable for a 1986 Audi 4000S automatic. I can find listings for the standard transmission model but not the automatic. I'm not sure that there is any difference between the two and was hoping that someone here would know. Thanks much!!!

This one is going to be left pretty much stock as it will primarily be used as a winter car (so the othercar doesn't have to face the harsh realities of the NH winters). It was a $450 Ebay special with 200,000 miles on it so I'm just trying to get it to a relatively reliable level.

Yeah imma be doing just minor mods to it for the reliability I got mine at about 145K miles on it but tranny is a bit messed up and my odometer doesnt work either.

But once I do those imma be doing major mods to it kuz it has a lot of potential.

from the transmission house you see some cable there. pull out the speedometer cable out. the end of the cable unit has a couple of dipstick marks on the bottom of speedometer cable end you just removed. hope this helps.
