B4 you start adding any performance mods to your car, make sure she runs in top condition. Do a good, proper tune up.

That gauge is your tachometer.....tells your engine rpm( revolutions per minute)

Is your car standard?

4000's are great although not known for their performance. There is a lot you can do, but the best advice was already given as a place to start-make sure its in top shape first. Enjoy it, Im sure you will this winter!!!

If i was you, i would lower the car first, i dont like the way the 4000 and 5000s sit stock.

Either get some new coils, buy adjustable coil overs, or you can chop your stock springs
Best get some lowering springs.
