The new roof rails won't take any existing aftermarket crossbars that I have found. I need more width than the factory aero crossbars provide for my kayak and box.

Anyone know of aftermarket products that attach to the factory rails? I can't find anything for the A3 or Q7 either, which does not bode well for the A4. I refuse to use something like Yakimas Q tower that disregards the factory rail and puts a foot onto the paint and clip onto the door frame. Ugh.

Also, does anyone know the weight limit on the factory crossbars?
