Default 2012 Audi A5 need turbo - P0299

Have the P0299 underboost on a 2.0T Audi A5 (2012) replaced with used turbo 94 K used - still threw the same codes

94K was from a 2009 Audi A4 - was told it was good - so replaced blow off and control valve

Still throwing codes - Is it worth rebuilding? - I just want to sell this A5

Any help would be useful......

Your turbo maybe done, The good news is that you no longer need to put a new turbo. You can fix it in a minutes by using the turbo bend tool

Repeated P0299 codes on your 2012 Audi A5, even after replacing the turbo, blow off, and control valve, may indicate persistent underboost issues. Before considering a rebuild, check intercooler connections, vacuum lines, and the wastegate for leaks. Ensure proper installation and functionality of the used components. If problems persist, a professional diagnostic might reveal other issues affecting performance. Evaluate repair costs against the A5's market value to determine if a rebuild is financially justified. Transparency about the issue when selling is advisable. Seek expert advice to make an informed decision on whether to continue troubleshooting or sell as-is.
