I just purchased a 2012 Audi a5 for my son's first car. We had been planning and saving for this since he was a baby. When we found the perfect car the dealer said it had a backup camera which it did. In our case it has the camera however the "rearview control module" is missing due to supplier issues at the time 2012s were being built. I reached our to Audi for the part number and found one such unit on eBay however it's programmed or a 2010 a5. Does anyone know what years and models I should be looking for to avoid the expensive dealer programming fee? Would a 2010 work?
