how can you tell if your A4Q has HIDs??

how can you tell if your A4Q has HIDs??
So i just bought a 99 Audi A4 2.8Q (B5.5) and the previous owner told me it had HIDs.
But i cant find the ballast, maybe i just dont know where to look!
and the headlight bulb it has is a H7 for both the low and high beams, except the lows have the projector lens thingy!
the low beams and foglights are a bluish color... looks like a 6000K
and when you first turn them on, they look a little bit bluer, as they warm up they turn a bit whiter.
so I dont know if it has HIDs or if the previous owner just replaced the bulbs to bluer ones!
