i've recently started using furniture polish on my rims after detailing them. as far as cleaning goes, i just use some simple green degreaser. when they're all done and dry, i apply a pretty liberal coat of furniture polish and polish them till there's a waxy coat on them. we use it for bike finishes in the bike shop that i work at, so i figured i'd try it.

makes brake dust float right off next time you wash it. good stuff.
