Default 1992 100 CS Quattro.

Hi guys, since I already posted my issue in the classics section, I thought I'd just copy the link in which I describe my car's problem.

Basically, I fried either a relay or according to my mechanic, the "body control module" AKA "comfort control module". My climate controls and window controls are down. No a/c, no heating, windows rolled up (so I am off bean burritos for the moment!). This happened when I connected my jumper cables in inverted position while jumpstarting my car (battery lasted 8 yrs - I forgot my car used one). Car is running right now without the B3 relay installed. If I put it in, everything works but car runs with an intermittent current failure. If I take relay B3 out, car runs strong and smooth (but I have to prohibit passenger farting).

Well, here's the story:

Would really appreciate some insight from more experienced Audi lovers.

Ed
