Help!!!! I have an 86 wagon that the drivers side rear window is broke out...are there any parts wagons around that any one would sell ,donate, or what ever...I need one though...I also have a turbo question...my wagon will only show 0.9 max on the boost meter, shouldn't it go a git more than that??? any ideas???

 

sorry, can't help ya on the window but the car has a huge boost leak somewhere. anything on that gauge over 1 is actual boost, so you aren't really getting much boost at all. does the car start and run ok? you may have a problem with your wg

 

THanks for your reply I don't know but I will check all of the boots or hoses that go to the intake, do you know is the WG rebuildable?? because I think that the issue might be the WG not fully closing or opening...Thanks again

Yentemad, thanks so much I checked out the ducting to the whole system and found one the had a hole in it....WOW does it ever go!!!!!! I still have an issue though do these have a chip in them that protects them from over rev????

can you describe the problem you're having? I don't believe that these cars had a rev-limiter on them, but i could be wrong

 

Yup, the car goes up to around 1.6 bar then acts like it quits, then you let up on the gas and it kicks back in...

check that page out. If you go over 1.6 bar of boost, the fuel pump will cut out. That could be a WG problem as well.

My 87 rarely goes over 1.3 bar, and according to the boost map values, the car should'nt go over 1.4 bar.
