96' Cabrio window electrics
Am having problems, espcially w the dirver's window..
I have the 'adhof' circuit diagram but it doesn't show all six switches.
I had a line on someone in the forum with another diagram (CRASH was themember), but the thread got broken.
Can anyone send me a diagram that covers all of the six switches including the one on the center console ?
This one works and may present the answer on how to fix the others without a teardown of the interior looking for faults.
The wife is tired of having to open the door to pay for parking.
Thanks,

RE: 96' Cabrio window electrics
Have you grabbed the rubber boot at the door hinge and given it a shake? That works for mine every once in awhile and lets me know that there is probably a wire broken at the stress point where it flexes. The diagram shows the four armrest switchs and the four connectors all leading to a wire bundle that goes through the door hinge area. Since the center console switch works, you know it is not a window regulator. The wiring diagram is involved, and since only one window is not working from the armrest, the most likely problem is the switch, or the wire as I described above. I doubt it is the power window control module.
