Default audi 80 1994 AC leak

Hey

I have this problem with my car that whenever it rains it the water leaks into my AC and then leaks out slowly into the into the car onto the floor i had to pull out the carpet cause by the time i realised it was soaked.
I replaced the AC and resealed the winscreen but this hasn't worked next time it rained it still leaks.

So anyone have any ideas i don't wish to send it to machinic as i can live with it for now but would like to fix the problem

Regards

Barry

Check the drain holes next to fuse box. and check the seals. Its unlikly to leak through AC becouse the entrance hole is under a shroud under the hood. So check there.
mine leaks too btw, the hood release cable groomet is bad, and if I dont clean the drain hole, it leaks through.

You can stick a coat hanger down the side drains, and use a hose, with just a bit water coming out to wash down the debris.

And like the above post, check your hood release cable grommet. It's probably loose, you can seal it up again using electrical tape.

If you don't fix this, water might continue to run down into your fuse/relay box causing some serious problems.

hey guys

Well it hasn't rained for a while so i have to wait i did try to reseal the windscreen.
Currently the water leaks into the car and comes out through the foot air intake. So it can only r eally come from the AC.

The fuse box seems to be ok i haven't found any water in that area.

Kind regards
Barry
