We have an Audi 5000S 2.3L Front Wheel Drive. The car also has 4 wheal disc brakes. My question is why does the Brake Light come on just after you realease the brakes. It normally does it after a light/moderate braking. What does this mean when the light comes on.

 

check fluid level, might be too low.

 

I forgot to say is that the brake light that comes on is in the Dash between the Speedometer and the Tachometer.

 

pad sensors ... low hydraulic pressure ... low fluid ... there are 2 diffirent brake lights

 

Maybe just check brake lights bulbs
