Hi, i have a 1994 audi and it always ran fine, but recently its been having problems. If the engine is cool, it will start and idol fine, but whenever the engine gets to running temp, and you put it into gear the car will not move, and the idoling becomes rough again untill it cools off. If anyone has any idea what is wrong with it i would greatly appreciate and advice.

Do you have a code reader?? If not take your repair manual and find out how the 90's codes are read...It sounds like an issue I had on my earlier VW the te,perature sensor was bad... But I suggest to look at the codes
