Upgrading light bulbs
I would like to upgrade the light bulbs on my 1989 200 Turbo with xenon bulbs. Can the existing halogen bulbs be simply replaced with the xenon or is a conversion kit required for this upgrade? I have seen xenon bulbs listed for as low as $9.95 to $19.95 for each bulb. The cheaper bulbs are made in Korea while the more expensive bulbs are made in Germany. What are the better brands of light bulbs and what should I look for in a xenon light bulb?

If you are just looking for a "bluish" xenon bulb then go for it. A true xenon system is a kit which includes, ballasts, ignitors and the light bulb capsule. The bulbs you are referring to are just halogen bulbs with a tiny amount of xenon gas. They are a gimmick and offer no benifit to traditional halogen bulbs. A true xenon system or often referred to as HID (high intensity discharge) will cost over 200 dollars.
Those so called "xeno lights" are not xenon.. they are blue lights with higher candel power. Which is ilegal in way... I use to have these on my Path and they burned out my wiring... Actualy melted the plastic conected, a huge mess...
I you want to you these, then I adivse creating a wiring system your selft with 2 realys and direct connection to battery.. This is easy and not as expesive..
