I'm looking at purchasing a project car for this winter. It's a 2003 audi allroad 2.7t. It has a blown engine (broken timing belt). As it sits right now the suspension is fully deflated it looks like it's slammed. Is it possible to raise the suspension without the motor running? Is the pump air or hydraulic? I'm trying to figure out transport is I can reach a deal...It has to be moved about a mile. It'd be great to just hook it to a tow strap and pull it back with my truck (I worry about the tires tearing up the fenders), or I could grab a uhaul trailer and winch it up (then ground clearance probably becomes an issue.)
