I need help!! My wifes allroad has a misfire on cylinder 5. Code p0305
Changed spark plugs, Tested injector, The coil pack was replaced
a couple months ago by audi dealer. Also had a code p0118 engine
coolant temprature circuit high. I replaced the ect sensor and it seemed
to take care of that problem. The car seems to run fine at highway speeds
but runs rough at idle. I can reset p0305 code but it continues to return
Can anyone help?????

...or check if the coil in cyl 5 gets the voltage from the battery.
The manual says to disconnect the coil connector, use multimeter to check if voltage between two outside terminals of the coil connector (1 and 4) is what the battery voltage is while switching ignition on. If not you have faulty wiring to the coil.
