Default Aftermarket Air Suspension

I have a 2001 allroad, owned it six months and the front keeps going down over night. I have read all the post and going to do the soap test tomorrow.

I see everyone complaining about the air bag price.

My last car was a 1999 Disco II Land Rover with similar air bag problems.

I bought life time warranty bags of Arnott Industries in FL for 1/3 the price of the OEM bags.

I see that they now make Allroad bags, has anyone purchased these?

FYI, I'm not affiliated with this company, just happy with their product I purchase from my disco

Cheers Boyd

I love how every website spells the vehicle wrong. its allroad, not Allroad. anyways, if this is legit, sounds like a helluva deal to me. Id love to not pay 6-700 a piece if and when my bags start to go out.

I posted a link on Audiworld.A guy on there said he used them on his Land Rover with great results. You can buy factory ones for $520 plus the cost of the seal kit.I'm going to give them a try

Nice. Look forward to hearin back on the results. what do you expect for the cost of labor to get them done, or will you do them yourself?

Talking

since audi didnt get this right the first time I wont trust them to do it right the second time by buying their oem parts. Just bought two Arnott airsprings online today for 600 a great deal considering the "Lifetime warranty" (thats right! and i called to verify! no strings attached!). I sent back the oem airsprings from audi, which i ordered 2 days ago (which had no warranty).

It seems audi had a nice scheme going there taking peoples money who had no choice but to buy from them from the dealer. You know and i know those airsprings arent worth that much money. Ill let everyone know how they work when i put them on.

Its sad that audi couldnt give their customers a break on the price due to their own poor design (what do you think will happen when rubber is exposed to elements for years at a time...hmmm? they will end up leaking!)

maybe they should hire me as an engineer of obvious affairs.

The description on the site says front air spring. Do the OEM front springs differ from the rear? I wonder if there are plans for rear springs as well. From what I've read, the front springs are more likely to leak, but it would be great to have aftermarket options for all 4 wheels if needed.

This makes me feel a whole lot better about having to replace the springs if they fail!!
