I was told this is most likely a bad module. Looking up airbag modules, there seem to be a bunch..

Which one is causing the fault? How is it called? Where is it located in the car?

 

Does someone know if and which other part numbers/modules fit?

 

I have been looking for the matching number module now for a while. Very few out there.

Does anybody know if there is an alternative number that fits?

Or a 'successor' number ("replaced with ....." or "replaces number .....")?

 

Can't find a used exact matching module number.
Would other numbers (or for example last letter E) fit (maybe with VAGcom softcoding)?
