Blaufergnugen best customer service
I just had a trusted independent mechanic replace all on my 2003 allroad with 150K miles on it. I used all Blauparts. Interestingly enough I had the dealer do TB/WP using Blauparts kit at 90 K. Since I had to do valve cover gaskets now due to severe oil leakage I figured might as well do it all at once even though it theoretically is a bit early to TB/WP. Discovered previous tensioner/roller had bearing failure as did water pump which also had a large crack. Yikes! Reported that to Blauparts and they asked me to send failed parts in so they could look them over. I wondered if anyone else had similar experience but got no response.
I had extensive conversation with customer service specialist Pam regarding the returned parts and she was most understanding that I knew they were out of warranty but I felt that they might want to be aware that they seemed to fail prematurely.
More recently, I received an email from the returns dept indicating that they were issuing me a credit for $315.70 even though the parts were beyond warranty. Now that is what I call exceptional customer service.
