Nice! Did your car run better after the 2nd or 3rd post flash start up?
I swear, I think mine ran better after a couple of start ups. I've heard peeps talk about how the car would need to "learn" the new software and though it was bs, but maybe they're right. It runs better now than the day I had it flashed.

I'm definitely not in the market for a flash right now, but I'm still curious if anyone has experienced higher gas mileage? Yeah, I know, old thread also.

I got my 2001 allroad chipped (APR) last week. OMG, sooooo much better. Also I am only running the resonator (cut out both exhausts) and it sounds good. To be honest, I havent noticed any change in MPG.....well, that is, for the better. I HAVE noticed it has dropped due to me putting my foot into it all the time now!

I finally broke down and got a loaded APR program a few months ago when I did all of the other 100K service stuff (it's on the bill as a tranny seal
Huge difference in the way the car feels but no diff at all in mileage. I have been a dedicated Shell 93 octane user and have noticed milage dropping off since they started their "nitrogen" enriched program. Just put in a tank of Exxon and am seeing a 1 mpg improvement so far. I may have to switch. Anyone else noticing something like this?
