Has anyone painted their 2.7t allroad's fenders and bumper to match a 4.2?

 

I think only 2005 4.2 ARs have painted fenders/bumpers??

Im not sure.

 

I think the painted fenders and bumper look better on the silver model which I have.

I'm going to check with a few body shops and see what they charge.

I will post before and after picks.

 

The Allroad "all body" paint option was not only available on the 4.2 model. This chart shows a breakdown. http://www.allroadfaq.com/content/paint.shtml

 

I never knew the burgandy color came with a full body paint option. Never seen one in pics. Mine is the burgandy and I wonder what it'd look like with the full body paint.

We should get some of the folks on the allroadfaq forum to join over here. Not much happening on that site, but got some good info.

 

I just think the full body paint looks better.
I wonder how long the paint will last on the plastic.
I think I will just have them match my current color (silver) to save money.
I do like the dark grey though.
